Core FTP LE is a free FTP Client application for Windows based systems.
The program integrates into the user regular browser, can perform site to site transfers, user can edit files at both ends of the connection, it supports firewall, etc.
The included Site Manager window allows the user to set the site name, host IP address, user name, password, etc. and directly connect to the site, setting the Port number, time out and number of retries, as well as the connection type: FTP, HTTP, etc.
The application is useful for web sites maintenance, sharing files between colleagues and friends, and it offers an easy to use interface, very intuitive and graphical.
It includes transfers lists for both ends of the connection. Both the remote and local windows are customizable and icons can be changed in size.
The drag and drop capability makes the transfer operations very easy to perform. User can set custom commands for being used when sending to the FTP Server. Files can be encoded to ANSI or Unicode.
Files at both ends of the connection can be edited and modified manually or using the copy, cut and paste facilities.
The options and global settings offer a very comprehensive set of possibilities for customizing connection, data, filters, automated resumes for interrupted transfers, proxy, SSH, etc.
The LE (light Edition) can be upgraded to a Pro Edition.
The Core FTP Pro edition enables encryption and decryption of files, scheduled and unattended transfers, and many others features. |
